MIU Work
Hi guys,
It's been a while between post but here goes..
Since starting the MFA program @ MIU I've been
having a tough time tieing all my work together. After
much soul searching, critiquing and research, I have
found a sort of direction to take my art in for the remainder
of the program. In previous works I am attracted to word
and phrase associations and want to keep that going in my
new work. So, I am tackeling the absurdities in our language
(mainly cliches and expressions) by holding a mirror up to
them and combining them with my characters and hybrids.
This first batch of pics, is based on the cliche
"Raining Cats and Dogs".
